The Science Adventure School, lead by WVU, is driven by our university mission and purpose as a Land Grant Institution. Our partners, The Summit Bechtel Reserve, Jackson's Mill, and WVU Outdoor Education center are equally as dedicated to providing opportunities to our local WV communities. Your help to continue to build our program is essential so that we may reach as many students as possible. We are accepting the following donations

Monetary Donations:

Your monetary donations will go towards subsidizing student tuition for our program. Our goal is to continue to provide this program for free for public school students, so every dollar is goes directly to helping students gain access to the Science Adventure School.

Gear and Equipment Donations:

Because the Science Adventure School is offered at no tuition cost, we do ask that families provide some essential personal gear. We are collecting gear for students who may need assistance filling their duffel bags. The items we need include:

• Travel sized personal care items/toiletries
• Warm hats/beanies
• Warm synthetic or natural fiber layers such as polyester/fleece sweaters, jackets, merino wool layers, or other mid- and heavy-weight layers
• Rain Jackets
• Sturdy hiking shoes or boots
• Headlamps or flashlights
• Water bottles
• Quality synthetic or wool socks
