Yurts

When you sleep at the OEC, you're going to be sleeping in style! Spacious enough for your whole group, yurts are equipped with bunk beds and heaters that will keep you warm, dry, and cozy. It’s a great set-up for the first-time camper. We can’t wait to show you around your new home for the week!

Challenge Course Facilities

The WVU Challenge Course is a highly functional and dynamic state-of-the-art installation situated in a beautiful, wooded environment just minutes from Morgantown, WV.  From team development and experiential programs, custom created group programs and aerial adventures, the Challenge Course and Team Development facility offers a wide range of elements suitable for almost any group!

On the zip line canopy tour, four adults smile while standing high in a tree on a wooden platform and wooden bridge, and another person has just started to zip line.
WVU Zipline Canopy Tour

The WVU Zipline Canopy Tour is a family friendly adventure located off the Coopers Rock exit. It is one of the best outdoor adventures in the Morgantown, Cheat Lake and Coopers Rock area. The course itself is comprised of 4 ziplines, an aerial bridge, and aerial ladder and a rappel station to exit the course. Each zip or leg of the course ranges in length from the 201’ starting zip, to the 980’ zip at the conclusion of the course. Participants will rappel 45’ from the final platform to the ground. After exiting the course, participants will hike from the base of the final tree back to the equipment shed on an interpretive nature trail (approximately 10 mins on a moderate trail).
